I’m an instructional designer and I love creating engaging learning experiences. I believe that learning has to be a fun, story-driven, and an enjoyable experience to result in learning “that sticks” with the learner.
I am an engineering graduate, a tech geek, and a certified nerd. I love combining my enthusiasm for learning new technologies and ideas with creating diverse and inclusive learning experiences that are up-to-date and provide a holistic learning experience.
I live by the sea with my wife and daughter, in a beautiful town in Goa, India. When I’m not working I'm by my window, painting.
Emeritus partners with top-tier universities across the globe and has partnered with more than 30 universities including MIT, Cambridge, Harvard, Colombia, Kellogg, Wharton, etc. As an Instructional Designer, I work with faculty and SMEs to design courses and with various teams to develop the designed courses.
At Packt, I worked with authors on various technical publications. I was responsible for checking the language, pedagogy, flow, technical accuracy, use of visualization, etc. to ensure that the we retained the author's vision while producing content that was read and understand. I ensured adherence to publication and accessibility standards, APA and CMoS. At Packt, we published both eBooks as well as paperbacks.
I started off at Praxis (now IXIA Solutions Pvt. Ltd.) as an Instructional Writer and created storyboards in various subjects in STEM/STEAM and IT-certifications for grades 8-12 and higher. I also worked with corporate clients to create learning modules and courses. I even performed ID tasks such as reviews, course outline creation, and was a SME in Computer Engineering related topics.
At XSEED, I authored activity-driven lessons and question banks in Mathematics for grades 6-8. I work with XSEED on a freelance basis on two projects.
